Home/Software/Inventory & Stock Control

Back office

Stock you can actually count on

Warehouse, store and inventory control for distributors, retailers, manufacturers and project stores.

What it does

Inventory & Stock Control

Every business that holds stock eventually discovers the same thing: the system says one number, the shelf says another, and nobody can explain the gap. Closing that gap needs disciplined receipts and issues, periodic counts, and a valuation method that is applied consistently rather than reinvented each year.

  • Item master with barcodes, units of measure and pack conversions
  • Goods received against purchase order, with variance flagged
  • Store issues, requisitions and approvals
  • Multi-store and multi-location transfers with in-transit visibility
  • Batch, lot and expiry tracking where the goods need it
  • Reorder levels, minimum stock and suggested purchase orders
  • Stock takes with count sheets, variance report and approval before posting
  • Valuation by weighted average or FIFO, applied consistently
  • Shrinkage and adjustment reporting with reason codes
  • Serial number tracking for equipment and high-value items
  • Barcode label printing

Tanzania

Made to survive an audit and a count

  • Adjustment control — every write-off carries a reason, a user and an approval, so shrinkage is explainable.
  • Consistent valuation — the same method applied every period, which is what auditors actually test.
  • VAT on purchases — input tax captured at goods receipt against the supplier invoice.
  • Expiry and recall — batch traceability from supplier invoice through to issue.
  • Project stores — stock issued to a site or job carries its cost to that job.

How we work

Scoped first, built in phases

We look at the process

Not a sales meeting. We sit with the people who do the work now and find where the time and money actually go.

You get a written scope

What will be built, what it costs, how long it takes, and what is explicitly out of scope. In writing, before anything starts.

Built in phases

The part that hurts most is delivered first and put into real use, so value arrives before the whole project is finished.

Trained and supported

Your staff are trained on the real system with real data, and support continues after go-live.

Runs on your own server if you want it to. Internet in Tanzania is not guaranteed. Systems can be installed on a machine at your premises so the business keeps working during an outage, syncing when the connection returns.

Frequently asked

Inventory & Stock Control — questions we get

Do we need barcode scanners?

They help but are not required. Items can be searched by code or name; scanning mainly speeds up receiving and stock takes.

Can it handle several warehouses?

Yes, with transfers between them and in-transit stock visible so goods on the road are not counted as available.

How does it help with stock takes?

It prints count sheets, accepts counted figures, shows variance by item and value, and requires approval before adjusting, so counts are auditable rather than silently overwritten.

Can it connect to our sales or accounting system?

Yes, either as part of the same system or by integration with what you already run.
