A job card that survives the argument

Job card, parts and labour management for garages, workshops and service centres.

What it does

Garage & Workshop

Most garage disputes come down to the same thing: what was agreed, what was actually done, and what it was going to cost. When the estimate was verbal and the parts came off a shelf without a note, the garage argues from memory and usually loses. A written job card, approved before work starts, ends most of that.

  • Vehicle register with registration, chassis, model and full service history
  • Job card from booking through diagnosis, estimate, approval and completion
  • Estimate sent to the customer for approval before work begins
  • Additional work requiring a fresh approval, recorded against the job
  • Parts issued to a job from stock, with cost and markup
  • Labour hours by mechanic, against standard times
  • Mechanic productivity — hours billed against hours attended
  • Insurance jobs: assessor, claim number, excess and approved amount
  • Sublet work to specialists, tracked and marked up
  • Invoicing with VAT and TRA fiscal receipts
  • Service reminders by SMS at the next due mileage or date

Tanzania

How Tanzanian workshops actually get paid

  • Insurance repairs — assessor approval, claim reference and excess tracked, since the insurer pays against the approved scope and nothing else.
  • Customer approval trail — estimate, approval and every variation recorded, which is what settles a disputed bill.
  • Parts markup control — cost and selling price per part visible, so margin is a decision rather than an accident.
  • TRA fiscal receipts — issued on invoicing.
  • Warranty work — separated from paid work so it does not quietly consume the workshop's capacity.

How we work

Scoped first, built in phases

We look at the process

Not a sales meeting. We sit with the people who do the work now and find where the time and money actually go.

You get a written scope

What will be built, what it costs, how long it takes, and what is explicitly out of scope. In writing, before anything starts.

Built in phases

The part that hurts most is delivered first and put into real use, so value arrives before the whole project is finished.

Trained and supported

Your staff are trained on the real system with real data, and support continues after go-live.

Runs on your own server if you want it to. Internet in Tanzania is not guaranteed. Systems can be installed on a machine at your premises so the business keeps working during an outage, syncing when the connection returns.

Frequently asked

Garage & Workshop — questions we get

Can customers approve an estimate remotely?

Yes, by SMS or WhatsApp link. The approval is timestamped against the job card, which is what protects you when the bill is questioned.

Does it track which mechanic is productive?

Yes, comparing hours billed on jobs against hours attended, per mechanic and per period.

Can it handle insurance jobs?

Yes, with the assessor, claim number, approved amount and excess held on the job, and invoicing split between insurer and customer.

Do we need to stock parts in the system?

It works better if you do, because parts then cost to the job automatically. Garages that buy per job can also record the purchase directly against the card.
