Full classes, vehicles never idle

Enrolment, scheduling and fee management for driving schools in Tanzania.

What it does

Driving School Management

A driving school makes money when the cars are moving and the classroom is full. Both are scheduling problems: a student who paid for eight practical sessions and took three, an instructor double-booked, a vehicle sitting idle because nobody matched it to a free slot.

  • Student enrolment with class of licence applied for and required documents
  • Course fees with instalment plans and outstanding balance per student
  • Theory class timetable and attendance
  • Practical lesson booking against instructor and vehicle availability
  • Session credits — sessions paid, taken and remaining, per student
  • Instructor schedules, hours taught and productivity
  • Vehicle allocation, fuel and maintenance for the training fleet
  • Provisional licence and test date tracking per student
  • Test results and pass-rate reporting by instructor and by class
  • Certificate issue and student records archive
  • SMS reminders for lessons, balances and test dates

Tanzania

How a Tanzanian driving school actually runs

  • Licence classes — courses configured by the class of licence a student is pursuing, with the syllabus each requires.
  • Provisional licence tracking — application, issue and expiry recorded so no student sits a test on a lapsed provisional.
  • Test scheduling — test dates, attempts and outcomes recorded per student, with pass rates by instructor.
  • Training fleet — insurance, inspection and maintenance for school vehicles, on the same logic as the fleet system.
  • Instalment fees — the reality that most students pay in pieces, tracked properly rather than in a notebook.

How we work

Scoped first, built in phases

We look at the process

Not a sales meeting. We sit with the people who do the work now and find where the time and money actually go.

You get a written scope

What will be built, what it costs, how long it takes, and what is explicitly out of scope. In writing, before anything starts.

Built in phases

The part that hurts most is delivered first and put into real use, so value arrives before the whole project is finished.

Trained and supported

Your staff are trained on the real system with real data, and support continues after go-live.

Runs on your own server if you want it to. Internet in Tanzania is not guaranteed. Systems can be installed on a machine at your premises so the business keeps working during an outage, syncing when the connection returns.

Frequently asked

Driving School Management — questions we get

Can students pay in instalments?

Yes. Each student carries a payment plan and a balance, and lesson credits are released against what has been paid so the school is not teaching on unpaid accounts.

How does it stop double-booking a car or instructor?

Bookings are made against availability. If an instructor or vehicle is already committed for that slot, the system will not accept the second booking.

Can it show which instructor has the best pass rate?

Yes, by instructor, by licence class and over any period, based on recorded test outcomes.

Do students get reminders?

Yes, by SMS for upcoming lessons, outstanding balances and test dates, which is what reduces no-shows.
