Operations

Where the project money actually went

Project, cost and site management for contractors, developers and consulting engineers.

What it does

Construction & Projects

A construction job goes wrong long before anyone can prove it. Materials are issued without being costed to a section, variations are agreed verbally, and the loss becomes visible only at final account. Tying every cost to a BOQ item as it is incurred is what makes overruns visible while there is still time to act.

  • Bill of quantities import, with rates and section structure
  • Site progress measurement against BOQ items
  • Material requisition, delivery and issue to specific work sections
  • Labour and plant time allocated to activities
  • Subcontractor packages, valuations and payment certificates
  • Variation orders with approval trail and effect on contract sum
  • Retention tracking and release schedule
  • Interim payment certificates and cumulative valuation
  • Cost versus budget by section, with committed cost visible
  • Site diary, weather, instructions and delay records
  • Snagging and defects liability tracking

Tanzania

Contractual discipline, on site

  • CRB compliance — contractor registration and project registration records kept with expiry alerts.
  • Payment certificates — cumulative valuation, retention and previous payments computed rather than reworked each month.
  • Variations — recorded with instruction reference and approval, which is what final-account disputes turn on.
  • VAT and withholding — applied correctly on subcontractor certificates.
  • Site-level offline — a remote site keeps recording and syncs when it has signal.

How we work

Scoped first, built in phases

We look at the process

Not a sales meeting. We sit with the people who do the work now and find where the time and money actually go.

You get a written scope

What will be built, what it costs, how long it takes, and what is explicitly out of scope. In writing, before anything starts.

Built in phases

The part that hurts most is delivered first and put into real use, so value arrives before the whole project is finished.

Trained and supported

Your staff are trained on the real system with real data, and support continues after go-live.

Runs on your own server if you want it to. Internet in Tanzania is not guaranteed. Systems can be installed on a machine at your premises so the business keeps working during an outage, syncing when the connection returns.

Frequently asked

Construction & Projects — questions we get

Can it import our BOQ from Excel?

Yes. Most contractors already hold the BOQ in a spreadsheet; it is imported with sections, quantities and rates intact.

Does it produce payment certificates?

Yes, with cumulative valuation, retention, previous certificates and the net amount due, in your standard format.

How does it handle variations?

Each variation carries the instruction, the pricing and the approval, and immediately shows its effect on the contract sum and forecast final cost.

Can several sites run at once?

Yes, each with its own BOQ, budget and store, with a consolidated view of all projects for management.
