Agriculture

The right input, in stock, before the rains

Stock, credit and compliance management for agro-dealers and input distributors.

What it does

Agro-Dealer Management

An agro-dealer's whole year is decided in a few weeks. Order too little of the right fertiliser and the season is lost; too much of the wrong one and it sits until it caks. Add farmer credit that must be recovered at harvest and regulated products that must be traceable by batch, and the record-keeping stops being optional.

  • Product catalogue: seed, fertiliser, agrochemicals, veterinary and equipment
  • Batch, lot and expiry tracking on every regulated product
  • Supplier orders with lead times, and season demand planning
  • Point of sale with farmer identification and purchase history
  • Farmer accounts with input credit and recovery at harvest
  • Group and cooperative purchases with member allocation
  • Subsidy and voucher redemption records
  • Multi-branch and satellite stockist stock visibility
  • Sales by crop, by ward and by season for the next order
  • Expiry and slow-moving report so stock is moved while it has value
  • TRA fiscal receipts and margin per product

Tanzania

Regulated inputs, traceable

  • TFRA — fertiliser registration, batch and supplier records kept as a by-product of receiving stock.
  • TPHPA — agrochemical and pesticide records, including restricted products and who bought them.
  • TOSCI — certified seed lots recorded with certification details and germination data.
  • Batch traceability — every unit traceable to the invoice it arrived on, which is what a recall or a complaint requires.
  • Voucher schemes — subsidy redemptions recorded in the form the scheme reconciles against.

How we work

Scoped first, built in phases

We look at the process

Not a sales meeting. We sit with the people who do the work now and find where the time and money actually go.

You get a written scope

What will be built, what it costs, how long it takes, and what is explicitly out of scope. In writing, before anything starts.

Built in phases

The part that hurts most is delivered first and put into real use, so value arrives before the whole project is finished.

Trained and supported

Your staff are trained on the real system with real data, and support continues after go-live.

Runs on your own server if you want it to. Internet in Tanzania is not guaranteed. Systems can be installed on a machine at your premises so the business keeps working during an outage, syncing when the connection returns.

Frequently asked

Agro-Dealer Management — questions we get

Can it track input credit to farmers?

Yes. A farmer takes inputs on credit against an agreed recovery at harvest, and the outstanding balance follows them, including where recovery runs through a cooperative.

Does it help decide what to order for next season?

Yes. Sales by product, by crop and by ward over previous seasons form the basis of the next order, rather than last year's guess repeated.

Do satellite stockists need internet?

No. A stockist can sell offline and sync when they reach coverage, with head office seeing stock and sales once synced.

Can it handle subsidy vouchers?

Yes, with redemption recorded against the farmer and the product, and a reconciliation listing for the scheme.
